My mom is visiting for the next two weeks and we have a whirlwind of wedding to do's! Dress shopping is of course the most important and I can't wait to see my moms face when I try on that first white gown.  oh so exciting! Here are some dresses I have been looking at...who knew I would yearn for the frills of vintage lace :)

Oh Hello Again

It has been way (xinfinity) too long since I have posted. So here I am back in action with the intention of creating a daily posting practice.

Right now I am a wedding planning machine, or at least I am trying to be. Party planning isn't a trait I come upon with ease. It is nerve-racking and anxiety-ridden...read: poor Jerome. But, with that said, I am doing my best to take my time, look at all of the options (and there are many) and really create an event that represents the proverbial US. Every blog I read refers to choosing your "couple style" and developing your "color palette". While I won't be going so far as to say that I have nailed our style or will even choose a color palette, I am starting to see our wedding as a whole. Picturing the venue chock full of dining, drinking, dancing and laughter. Simple, eclectic and RAD. Maybe that is our couple style.
